Abstract

The combined inflation of 2 CPI cities in Southeast Sulawesi in June 2021 was recorded at 0.09 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.50.
Kendari City experienced inflation of 0.28 percent with a CPI of 107.06 and Baubau City experienced deflation of 0.51 percent with a CPI of 104.74. Commodities contributing to inflation include scad fish/benggol fish, cars, skipjack/scale fish, house contracts, long beans, tempeh, milkfish/sponge fish, broiler chicken, cooking oil, and rice.
Commodities contributing to deflation include air transport, mackerel/bloated fish/banyar fish/gembolo fish/aso-aso fish, katamba fish, bananas, shallots, squid, garlic, moringa leaves, infant milk powder, and white cabbage/cabbage.
