Abstract

The combined inflation of the 2 CPI cities in Southeast Sulawesi in April 2021 was recorded at 0.35 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.21.
Kendari City experienced inflation of 0.21 percent with a CPI of 105.54 and Kota Baubau also experienced inflation of 0.80 percent with a CPI of 104.21.
Inflation occurred due to an increase in the price index for the equipment, equipment and routine household maintenance group by 1.33 percent; the food, beverage and tobacco group 0.91 percent; clothing and footwear group 0.46 percent; the group providing food and beverage / restaurant 0.36 percent; the personal equipment and other services group 0.31 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuels group of 0.17 percent; the health group at 0.05 percent and the recreation, sports, and culture group at 0.01 percent. The groups experiencing deflation were the transportation group with 0.71 percent and the information, communication and financial services group at 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the education group did not experience change / was relatively stable.
Commodities contributing to inflation include bananas, mackerel / mackerel / banyar fish / gembolo fish / aso-aso fish, Muslim women's clothing, eggs, katamba fish, selar fish / tude fish, curtains, flying fish / fish. benggol, sand and rice with side dishes.
Commodities contributing to deflation include cars, rice, online rates for 4-wheeled vehicles, anchovies, skipjack / hawksbill, men's jeans, wet prawns, limes / limes, air transport and gold jewelery.
