Abstract
0.31 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) 103.42. Out of 90 cities, 67 cities experienced inflation and 23 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was recorded in Tanjung Pandan (Bangka Belitung Province) of 1.20 percent with CPI 104.57 while the lowest inflation was recorded in Madiun (East Java), Bogor (West Java), and Tanjung Pinang (Riau Islands) each of 0 , 01 percent with CPI respectively 103.20, 105.94 and 102.62.The inflation that occurred in Kendari City was caused by the increase in the price index in the food, beverage and tobacco group 1.23 percent; transportation group 0.45 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group 0.24 percent; household equipment, equipment, and routine maintenance 0.22 percent; the personal care group and other services 0.07 percent; and the recreation, sport and culture group 0.06 percent. Groups that experienced deflation included information, communication and financial services 2.05 percent and housing, water, electricity and other fuels 0.07 percent. While the clothing and footwear group, the health group and the education group did not change / were relatively stable.Commodities contributing to inflation are onions, filter clove cigarettes, squid, granulated sugar, air transport, cars, mackerel / bloated fish / banyar fish / gembolo fish / aso-aso fish, moringa leaves, milkfish / bolu fish and young corn / putren.Commodities contributing to deflation are papaya, rambe, sprey, cement, carrots, lime / lime, cayenne pepper, rice, broiler eggs, and cell phones.
